EPS mainly contains torque sensors, speed sensors, ECU and electric motor (see Fig.6-15). When driver turns the steering wheel, the torque sensors sense the steering direction and the amount of torque, then send the information to ECU.
举一反三
- According to the information from torque sensors and speed sensors, ECU commands the electric motor to provide the power-assisted steering.
- ABS consists of ECU (Electronic Control Unit), 4 wheel speed sensors and APV (Anti-lock Pressure Valve) as shown in Fig.5-11.
- In addition to ECU, its main components are steering actuator, feedback motor, steering angle sensors.
- The manual steering system relies on the driver’s steering power to steer the wheel. It mainly consists of steering control mechanism (including steering wheel, steering column, etc.), steering gear, steering linkage mechanism (including steering tie rod, steering knuckle arm, steering knuckle, steering vehicle wheel, etc.).
- The ________ system uses sensors to detect the engine condition. A: ECU B: MAF C: EFI D: ABS
